A Memory Stuffed Elephant is a great way to create a meaningful memory. I can make a toy from clothing from your child that commemorates special occasions, or from an absent loved one, be it grandma's favourite blouse, grandpa's favourite sweater, auntie's best dress, or almost anything else that carries a memory.

Please note that the plush elephant pictured is a sample only: the design will be the same, but the fabric will come from the clothing that you send me.

The finished product is approximately 17 inches tall, and is stuffed with polyester fibrefill for a soft, cuddly elephant. The design is from a beautiful pattern by Crafty Boots Designs (https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/Craftybootsdesigns).

I can use almost anything to make this toy - onesies should be 6-12 months size or larger, toddler tops should be size 2 or larger. Cotton, cotton jersey, fleece, sweatshirts and wool are all great materials for the toys. I cannot use thick wool (found in coats), leather, spandex, denim or bathing suits. Clothing with an all-over print works best.

To start the process, simply send me a minimum of 4 pieces of clothing from an adult, or 12 pieces from a child, and I will send back your elephant within 3 weeks of receipt. You can drop them off if you are in the Longueuil, QC area, or mail them to me.
